Equipping Pastoralist Champions: COPACSO Strengthens Member Capacity on Land Rights
The Coalition of Pastoralist Civil Society Organizations (COPACSO) launched the year with a capacity-building workshop in Kampala, bringing together 22 participants from 14 member organizations. Supported by the Christensen Fund, the workshop enhanced members’ capacity to advocate for pastoral land rights, address land ownership challenges, and mobilize resources effectively. This initiative is part of a broader project to amplify pastoralist voices and promote sustainable livelihoods in Uganda’s Cattle Corridor.
